I am a philosopher of science and an associate professor at the Department of Theoretical Philosophy, University of Groningen.

I am also an associate editor of the journal Theory & Psychology and coordinator of the master program Philosophy and Science.

My current research topics include, for example, the role of theory in psychology, levels and reductionism, and artificial and human creativity.
